Today, in class:

  • complete your note on the FOUR PARTS OF PURE SOIL (text pages 145-146)
  • identify and colour map SOIL REGIONS OF CANADA (text page 146)
Homework:
  • Finish work on soil from textbook
  • STUDY FOR TEST - Next Wednesday, October 5th:  Unit 1 Canada's Natural Systems (Landforms, Glaciation, Plate Tectonics, Earthquakes, Tsunamis, Climate, Soil and Vegetation)

Whew! We made it through week two and now you have your first Geography Test under your belt as well.

I was very impressed with your focus and respect for other classmates as you quietly completed the map test today.  I will mark these over the weekend and return to you on Monday.
REMEMBER:  If you would like to take a re-test this will be available on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 11:30 in Room 261.
